One step at a time

Let’s make it

  1. Lemonade Base

In a blender, combine the cubed seedless watermelon and fresh mint leaves. Blend until smooth and well combined.

  2. Lemonade Base

Strain the watermelon-mint puree through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove pulp and mint solids, pressing to extract as much juice as possible.

  3. Lemonade Base

Add freshly squeezed lemon juice and honey (if using) to the pitcher. Stir well to dissolve the honey.

  4. Lemonade Base

Pour in the chilled cold water and stir to combine all ingredients evenly. Taste and adjust sweetness with more honey if desired.

  5. Serving

Serve the watermelon mint lemonade over ice cubes, garnished with extra fresh mint leaves if desired. Enjoy immediately for best freshness.

A little kitchen wisdom

Tips & notes

Use ripe, sweet watermelon for best flavor. Adjust honey based on the sweetness of the watermelon and personal preference. Muddling a few mint leaves in the glass before pouring enhances aroma.

Saving it for later

Refrigerate leftover lemonade in a sealed container and consume within 2 days for optimal freshness and flavor.

Reheating

Serve cold; do not reheat.
