Let’s make it

  1. Lemonade Base

In a pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice and granulated sugar. Stir vigorously until the sugar is completely dissolved.

  2. Fruit

Add the fresh raspberries to the pitcher. Using a wooden spoon or a muddler, gently crush the raspberries to release their juice and incorporate their flavor into the lemonade.

  3. Liquid

Pour in the cold filtered water and stir the mixture thoroughly to combine all ingredients well.

  4. Sweetener

Taste the lemonade and adjust sweetness if desired, adding more sugar as preferred and stirring until dissolved.

  5. Serving

Refrigerate the lemonade for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to blend and chill, or serve immediately over ice cubes if preferred.

  6. Garnish

Serve the raspberry lemonade poured over ice cubes and garnish with fresh mint leaves if using.

A little kitchen wisdom

Tips & notes

For a smoother texture, strain the lemonade through a fine mesh sieve to remove raspberry seeds before serving. Adjust sweetness gradually to suit your taste. Use freshly squeezed lemon juice for the best flavor. To make it more festive, add a splash of sparkling water just before serving.

Saving it for later

Store any leftover raspberry lemonade in a sealed pitcher or container in the refrigerator. Consume within 2-3 days for best freshness.

Reheating

This beverage is served cold and is not suitable for reheating. Stir well if flavors have settled before serving again.
