Let’s make it

  1. Lemonade Base

In a blender, combine fresh raspberries and 250 milliliters of cold water. Blend until smooth.

  2. Lemonade Base

Strain the raspberry puree through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove seeds, pressing with a spoon to extract as much juice as possible.

  3. Lemonade Base

Add freshly squeezed lemon juice from the lemons into the pitcher with raspberry juice.

  4. Sweetener

Add the remaining 750 milliliters of cold water and honey to the pitcher. Stir well until honey is fully dissolved. Taste and adjust sweetness if desired by adding more honey.

  5. Chilling

Refrigerate the lemonade for at least 15 minutes before serving to let flavors meld and chill.

  6. Serving

Serve the raspberry fresh lemonade over ice cubes in glasses. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.

A little kitchen wisdom

Tips & notes

Use ripe fresh raspberries for the best flavor. Adjust honey sweetness to your taste. Straining the puree removes seeds for a smooth texture. Chill well for refreshing taste.

Saving it for later

Store leftover lemonade covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Stir well before serving as ingredients may settle.

Reheating

Do not reheat. Serve chilled or with ice for the best refreshing taste.
